KNOW THIS: YOU CAN START OVER, EACH MORNING - TYLER JOSEPH.

The story begins with..

I brought a camera at the end of last year for my trip to Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. I had a Nikon DSLR but, I had wanted something a little less bulky and more compact for my traveling without having to lunge around a brick of a camera all the time. So with the help of my cousin, I bought a Sony A7 II. I have a fixation on the number 7 and so it was no brainer that I wanted this camera. Mind you, by the time I came back from my holidays, the camera was sitting in a closet collecting dust.. just like the rest.. again.

It wasn't till my cousin told me off, saying that "you spend all that money on a camera and you're not evening using it?" that I decided to start a habit. I started to put my camera in my handbag as much as possible (or at least when I do go out with a handbag or backpack). Start taking photos of the things I see that interest me, where normally I would use my phone camera. Food became a major subject of focus, as to be honest I only really ever go out with my friends to catch up over a meal.

Over a catchup with an old colleague of mind whom I am still great friends with, I was showing her pictures that I had transferred to my phone using the Sony A7 II wifi transfer. She loved them. Asked if I've been putting them on Instagram. At this point of time I have been away from social media for quite sometime, opting for Facebook to keep my communication channels open. It didn't really interest me at first, but my friend insist that it's a way for others to try the places I've been to and also for me to find places to go to too. This excited me. I love finding new places to go, especially places that just have it's own character.

You can pretty much guess where this story leads to by now..

From Instagram and Facebook, my friends began encouraging me to blog. A few, knew it was something I definitely want to do as part of that mental list of things I want to tick off.

So.. here I am. Let's get this started!
